Giles first entered the essential oil industry in 1992 wishing to be involved in a tangible industry, to get his hands dirty and experience the soil under his fingernails.

He has travelled extensively throughout the world, and has lived in Asia and USA giving him a broad and wide perspective.
Entering the personal care sector in 2007 after Treatt acquired Earthoil Plantations Ltd, he successfully and profitably navigated the business into the natural cosmetics ingredient arena leading the transformation of the business. Earthoil became a leading supplier and grower of ethical, organic and sustainable essential oils and vegetable oils and ingredients. This business was subsequently sold to Univar Solutions 2018.
Fascinated by this industry and the opportunities, another challenge appealed. Giles entered the contract manufacturing sector with relish and joined Inovia International, a division of StanChem International. Inovia International during this time became a leading full service contract manufacturer and bulk ingredient supplier servicing, in particular, the natural wellness markets.
